Transition

Writing a creative story is a lot different than writing a research paper.  The way I plan on transitioning some information from the research paper into the creative story will be to combine the answers of the interviews, and make it as the main characters voice.  My creative story is going to be created backwards, where the beginning of the story starts out with her owning her own business and being a successful business woman; however, as the story progresses, it will go back in time to how she got started, what her reasons were, and how her life was before she opened her coffee shop.  While writing my story, I’ll incorporate the information about the struggles a woman faces in the business world, as well as some of the programs that she used to help her get started.  It’s a lot different switching modes from research to creative writing.  But I don’t think it’ll be that difficult to subtly incorporate a lot of the information from the research to the creative writing.
