This has been a bit of a grueling process so far, as it is with any research paper.  You have to choose a topic, gather the sources, write the paper and you’re done right?  Wronggg.  This is my second major research paper in college and I’ve learned a few things up to this point.

First of all, if you’ve chosen a topic in the beginning, most likely, after your professors done talking to you, it won’t be your exact topic anymore.  I’ve learned that depending on what the teacher says, and the resources that you’re able to find, your paper evolves into something pretty much different by the end of the entire process.

I have learned that it is very difficult for me to get started with the paper, and get it rolling.  Also sticking to the main point of the paper throughout its entirety is pretty tough.  I’ve also learned that it can be extremely difficult to find the right journal article you’re looking for.  Sometimes, it’s soo frustrating, that I will alter my paper according to the articles I’m able to find.  You gotta do what you gotta do…in order to make the grade.

Big papers are always hard to get started on. But once you finish it, it really wasn’t so bad
